Online Community Development Survey on FY 2019-2020 CDBG Action Plan

Public Input Solicited for Projects and Ideas To Be Funded Through Federal Community Development Program

The City of Rochester’s Community Development Division has released an online community development survey to gather public feedback and opinions on potential funding for activities for the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The FY 2019-2020 CDBG action plan survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LD7QGGW

The City of Rochester receives federal grant funding through the Community Development Block Grants program, which is administered through the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). As part of this funding process, the City must submit an annual action plan that outlines proposed activities and funding for the upcoming plan year. The FY 2019-2020 action plan will be developed with input from members of the public, City officials, and community stakeholders such as non-profits providing services to City residents and local businesses.

Public input is welcome throughout the entire planning process for the FY 2019-2020 action plan. Comments and concerns can be submitted to Community Development Coordinator Julian Long via e-mail at julian.long@rochesternh.net or via postal mail at 31 Wakefield Street, Office of Economic & Community Development, Rochester, NH 03867.

Updates on the FY 2019-2020 action planning process, as well as drafts of the FY 2019-2020 annual action plan, will be posted to the City of Rochester’s Community Development webpage. Action plan updates can be found at https://www.rochesternh.net/community-development-division/pages/action-....
