The City of Rochester's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program has chosen to stay focused on projects in the four following eligible areas:
- Public Service Grants
- Housing Rehabilitation
- Economic Development
- Public Facitlities/Infrastructure Improvements
Annual and five-year action plans for how the City plans to expend CDBG funds, including draft plans open to public comment, are available under "Action Plans." It is the mission of the Community Development Division to administer the Community Development Block Grant program and to encourage and support the provision of necessary services to all City residents with a special focus on low- and moderate-income families.
