New Accessibility Improvements Grants Program

Funds for Wheelchair Ramps and Other Residential Work

The City of Rochester’s new Accessibility Improvements Grants program provides funding for accessibility improvements in low to moderate income residential buildings and certain public facilities, including but not limited to doorway ramps, installation of grab bars in bathrooms, and other fixtures that improve access for those with physical disabilities. The Accessibility Improvements Grant Program is part of the City’s Community Development Block Grant program.
