Housing Partnership to host homebuyer’s workshop

The Housing Partnership will hold a free first-time homebuyer’s workshop Sept. 14 from 9 to 4:30 p.m. at TD Bank, 1 Old Dover Road, Rochester.

The workshop will provide attendees with an overview of everything you need to know about the home-buying process. The program reviews budgeting, credit, negotiating a purchase and sales agreement, applying for a mortgage special financing, closing costs, home inspections and homeowners insurance.

When attendees complete the workshop they can schedule an individual assessment with a Housing Partnership housing counselor who will develop a personal home-buying plan.
