CDBG Grant Applications for FY 2019-2020 Now Available

Applications Due by December 13th

The City of Rochester’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is requesting grant applications for FY 2019-2020 funding consideration. The CDBG program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The program aims to assist low- and moderate-income residents of the City of Rochester through funding public services, economic development initiatives, low-income housing rehabilitation, and public facilities projects. As part of the program, the City of Rochester distributes subgrants to non-profits and other organizations that perform work related to the City’s CDBG goals.

Tentative priorities identified for the FY 2019-2020 CDBG program year include Housing First and rapid rehousing for chronically homeless persons and homeless veterans, affordable housing initiatives, substance abuse treatment and recovery services, and downtown revitalization projects.
