I just moved to Rochester, what do I need to register my vehicle?

Moving from another NH city/town:

1. Valid Photo ID

2. Proof of residency- Need ONE of the following

• Utility Bill
• Lease Agreement or Mortgage Statement
• Recent Paystub
• Address Verification Form completed by the Rochester resident you are living with (form attached)

3. Current NH Registration or Title/ Title Application for New Vehicle

Moving from another State:

1. Valid Photo ID (You may use your out of state license)

2. Proof of residency- Need ONE of the following

• Utility Bill
• Lease Agreement or Mortgage Statement
• Recent Paystub
• Address Verification Form completed by the Rochester resident you are living with (form attached)

3. Vehicle Title – Use the flowchart below to see which situation applies to you. Please note that if there are two people on the title, both parties must be present to sign the NH Title Application.
