What paperwork do I need for a renewal, transfer or new registration?

RENEWALS

You need a previous registration OR ( If previous is lost) your plate number and Photo ID.

TRANSFER REGISTRATION

1. The current registration for the plates you are transferring
2. Title* or NH Title Application for the new vehicle you are registering

NEW REGISTRATION WITH NEW PLATES

1. Title* or NH Title Application

*Year 2000 and newer require a title. Vehicles 1999 and older are exempt from title. Click here for more information on exempt vehicles.
