Create a NEW Account

We are excited to announce that in the summer of 2021 we started using a new Rec Software, RecDesk.  Our expectations are that it will benefit us as well as our customers with a more streamlined experience.   

With the new software, our “Rec Family” will need to create a new account with RecDesk, not only to participate in our programs, but to stay informed via email of what is going on with programs and events. 

The process to set up a new account is fairly simple. From our website,, click on Create a New Account   (if you would like to keep this window open for reference, right click on link to open in a new tab/window)

Step 1

Enter your information

  • Name - First - MI - Last  
  • Primary Phone 
  • Primary Email Address 

Click Continue 

If you receive a response of:

"This email is already on file with Rochester Recreation & Arena.  Please contact Rochester Recreation & Arena to request an Id and password for your account."  

It means that there is currently an account with your email.  If you did not create one, we created one for you with a program registration.  This could have been Summer Camp, Swim Lessons or one of our other programs. 

Continue to step 2.  

Step 2

  • Click Log In 
  • Click on Forgot Password 
    • You will enter your email  
      • Click Send Email 
        • You will receive an email from RecDesk Support - Password reset link 
        • When you click on the link, it will bring you to the Reset Password page 
          • Note your user Id and enter your New Password 
            • Confirm New Password 
            • Click Reset Now 

If you did not receive the yellow highlighted response continue to step 3

Step 3

  • Fill in the information 
    • Click Submit 

You have now created your account. 

Click Add Household Member to add your Children, Spouse or other family member.
