New Public Works Facility

Building Location - 209 Chestnut Hill Road

Construction of this facility is now in progress.  The City held a small Ground Breaking Ceremony on June 30th. Click here for event details. 

  • 8/1/2020 - Progress Photos Click Here  The Site work is progressing on site. The Salt shed is up, footing are in place and underground trenches are being completed for the Aministrative area.  The Foundation for the vehicle storage area is in progress.  
  • 8-8-2020-Progress Photos Click Here  Underground plumbing for the admin building is making progress.  The Salt shed roof is being contructed.  SUR is continuing making progress with storm drainage.

  • 9-4-2020-Progress Photos Click Here  Electrical conduits outside of admin area, e-line foundation wall near shop area, north side vehcle storage.  The main road entrance and infiltration basin taking shape and underground main electric conduits being installed.
  • 9-18-2020-Progress Photos Click Here Canopy storage pier concrete placement, the metal roof is being installed on the salt shed and Admin area slap is being prepped and ready for concrete placement for Monday 9-21-2020. 
  • 9-25-2020-Progress Photos Click Here Concrete is being poured in the admin area, the salt shed is near completion and the foundation is nearing completion in large building.  
  • 10-2-2020-Progress Photos Click Here  The new gas lines have been installed, concrete is being poured in vehicle garage area and the canopy storage concrete slab is being poured. The structural steel was delviered for the admin area and the underground plumbing is in process in the vehicle storage area.

  • 10-17-2020-Progress Photos Click Here The base layer paving is going down in the salt shed, SUR is putting down crushed gravel in the driveway areas. The admin area structural steel is being erected and vehicle storage slab placment is being worked on. 
  • 10-24-2020-Progress Photos Click Here The fondation was being poured for the main building.  The footings were started on the remote canopy buildng.  The pouring  of concrete slab in balance of  vehicle storage area.  They are finishing the last of concrete in vehicle storage slab.
  • 11-7-2020-Progress Photos Click here The structural steel is ready for the admin roof panels, the fuel island canopy foundations form is up and the natural gass line is being installed past the job site entrance.

  • 10-2-2021-Progress Photos Click Here The outside of the new public Works Facility  is progressing as well as the landscaping of the parking lot with scrubs being planted and mulched.
