Community Members Encouraged to Submit Information to Rochester News & Events Portal

ROCHESTER — City Manager Blaine Cox is pleased to invite members of the community and city employees to submit information and ideas for stories to the city’s News and Events Portal.

Through the newly-created Submit a Story feature on the portal, residents who would like to have a community story featured on the page can submit details and photos for consideration and potential publication.

The submission feature is also open to city employees who would like to highlight the work their respective departments are doing, or to help raise awareness for events they’re involved with.

To submit information now, click on the button below. The same button is also located on the top right of the page at Rochesterportal.com.

“This is a great way for residents and city employees alike to share the things that are important to them with the rest of the community,” City Manager Cox said. “It’s also a vehicle for people in the community who like to write to share their Rochester-related work with a larger audience, so i invite everyone to take advantage of it.”

You can also submit a story by clicking here.

Users should remember that this feature is not intended solely for upcoming events. Events may be submitted separately for inclusion on the events calendar by clicking here.
