As part of the program, the City of Rochester distributes subgrants to non-profits and other organizations that perform work related to the City’s CDBG goals.

Tentative funding priorities identified for FY 2018-2019 include affordable housing initiatives, employment and vocational services for unemployed and underemployed residents, health care and supportive services for residents with mental illnesses, substance abuse treatment and recovery services, and Housing First and rapid rehousing for chronically homeless persons and homeless veterans.
