DPW temporarily turning off water on portions of Milton Road and surrounding neighborhoods
The Utilities Division of the Department of Public Works will be turning off the water in areas surrounding portions of Cross Roads and Milton Road (see complete list below) on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 11:00pm. The water will be restored on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 7:00am.
The reason for the temporary shutdown is to allow crews to replace a gate valve and fire hydrant near 181 Milton Road.
During this time, residents will experience little or no water pressure, air, or discoloration. The discoloration is from naturally occurring minerals that have precipitated in the water lines. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear your water.
