The City’s Community Development Coordinator would be happy to answer any of your questions and/or provide additional information. Community Development Coordinator Kiersten Wright can be contacted via email at Kiersten.Wright@RochesterNH.Gov; via telephone at 603-335-7522; or via postal mail at 31 Wakefield Street, Office of Economic & Community Development, Rochester, NH 03867.

The Community Development Division is happy to accept project proposals at any time; however, except for time-sensitive proposals, proposed projects will be evaluated on an annual basis during the Annual Action Plan creation process. Grant applications for interested organizations will be made available in early winter, and funding decisions will be made by the Community Development Committee and then the full City Council in spring.

Please note that Community Development Block Grant funding is awarded to organizations and programs, not to individuals. For individuals interested in direct assistance, please refer to the City Welfare Office's list of resources and referrals and/or Community Partners' Community Resources Newsletter.
