Proposed Washington Street Project - Phases 3, 4, and 5
This plan depicts Phases 3, 4, and 5 the proposed changes to Washington Street.

§       Phase I was the water main improvements that occurred in Fall 2006 between Chesley Hill Road and Brock Street.
§       
§       Phase 2 is all the improvements to Washington Street proposed in support of the Lowes and Kohl's shopping center.  The developers are funding phase 2.  This work begins in March 2007 and will be completed by November 2007.

§       Phase 3 is the improvements from Brock Street to Haig Street and includes the replacement of a sewer pump station and the installation of traffic signals at Brock Street.  This work is scheduled to begin in early June 2007 and will be completed by June 2008.

§       Phase 4 is reconstruction from Haig Street to Madison Avenue and includes the installation of sidewalks on both sides of the street.  Phase 4 is scheduled to begin in summer 2008 and will be completed in 2009.

§       Phase 5 is the construction of the roundabout in Strafford Square.  Phase 5 is being largely funded using State funds that are currently programmed for 2012.
