CITY OF ROCHESTER NOTICE TO VOTERS SUPERVISORS’ SESSION PRIOR TO MUNICIPAL FILING PERIOD ON SEPTEMBER 4, 2009 |
The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on Thursday, September 3, 2009, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 P.M. in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, to accept new voter registrations and changes in name/address/ward/party affiliation, in preparation for the September 4, 2009, Municipal Filing Period for the November 3, 2009 Municipal Election.
PROOF OF RESIDENCE IN ROCHESTER MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
Any individual who desires to be a candidate for the November 3, 2009 Municipal Election must be an accepted voter, at their current address, on the voter checklist by September 4, 2009. All potential candidates are encouraged to check with the City Clerk’s Office to confirm their voter registration information.
Physically disabled individuals who are unable to visit City Hall to personally register should contact the City Clerk’s Office no later than Tuesday, September 1, 2009 to make alternate arrangements.
